FUNDAMENTAL PROPERTIES OF HIGH-STRENGTH CONCRETE USING COAL GASIFICATION SLAG FINE AGGREGATE

چکیده
In this study, the authors investigate various properties of coal gasification slag fine aggregate (CGS) when applied to high-strength concrete. The amount admixture using CGS concrete is lower than that ordinary initial compressive strength and onset up 91-day age were smaller those aggregate. Young’s modulus approximately 1.1 times reduced autogenous shrinkage only in case portland cement. moderate heat cement, same as land sand

Performance of Copper Slag on Strength and Durability Properties as Partial Replacement of Fine Aggregate in Concrete
concrete occupies unique position among the modern construction materials. Concrete is a material used in building construction, consisting of a hard, chemically inert particulate substance, known as aggregate (usually made for different types of sand and gravel), that is bond by cement and water. Now a days utilization of industrial soil waste or secondary materials has encouraged in construct...
متن کاملmechanical and durability properties of slag based recycled aggregate concrete
in this paper, the possibility of using recycled aggregate (ra) and ground granulated blast furnace slag (ggbfs) to produce a structural concrete was studied by compromising strength to a lesser extent. hence an attempt has been made to study the strength and durability characteristics of the ggbfs-based recycled aggregate concrete. four different groups of mixes were designed by replacing natu...
متن کاملPrediction of Lightweight Aggregate Concrete Compressive Strength
Nowadays, the better performance of lightweight structures during earthquake has resulted in using lightweight concrete more than ever. However, determining the compressive strength of concrete used in these structures during their service through a none-destructive test is a popular and useful method. One of the main methods of non-destructive testing in the assessment of compressive strength...
متن کاملSlag Behavior in Gasifiers. Part I: Influence of Coal Properties and Gasification Conditions
In the entrained-flow gasifiers used in integrated gasification combined cycle (IGCC) plants, the majority of mineral matter transforms to liquid slag on the wall of the gasifier and flows out the bottom. However, a small fraction of the mineral matter is entrained (as fly ash) with the raw syngas out of the gasifier to downstream processing. This molten/sticky fly ash could cause fouling of th...
